Black & Blue Bowl is This Friday
The biggest high school football event in Vacaville is this Friday. The Black & Blue Bowl is when Vacaville High School and Will C. Wood face off. Vaca Highâs bulldogs have won 30 out of 34 in the series which dates back to 1990. Woodâs last win was in 2015. The game will be held at Vaca High this year. READ MORE
Donate Your Pumpkins on Sunday
Want to get rid of your pumpkins and have them go to a good cause? You can donate whole, uncarved, & undecorated pumpkins to Lucky Ones Animal Rescue. Theyâll be accepting them in the Grocery Outlet parking lot (Nut Tree Parkway) on Sunday, November 1st from 11AM - 1PM.

I really enjoy Halloween and again turned my front porch into a mini haunted house. I hope I didnât scare the little ones too bad. đŹ I also just finished a great book on the art of storytelling. I learned a lot and added it to my list of recommended books.
