Solano Cold Cases, Vacaville Football & More This Week...

High school football is starting. Unidentified remains are being identified with science. And all of this is happening this week in and around Vacaville!

Cold Case Deaths in Solano County

For over a year, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office has dedicated resources to solving “cold” coroner cases through the Doe Cold Case Project. The projects strives to identify unidentified remains recovered in Solano County using advancements in science and technology.

The Sheriff’s Office plans to announce its first successful case next year. Not all coroner cases are homicides, but the project will hopefully bring closure to families of missing loved ones. We will follow up in next week’s e-mail.
