Cultural Center Library Closed for $24 Million Makeover

This month, the Cultural Center Library on Ulatis Drive will begin a 15-month renovation and expansion. It will be closed after August 23rd. A 3,600 square-foot addition will include a meeting room, multi-purpose room, and outdoor courtyard. READ MORE

Details of Triple Murder Emerge in Court

Victor Serriteno stands accused of killing a Vallejo woman and burning her body near Lake Berryessa in 2020. The fire Serriteno allegedly started contributed to the LNU Complex Fire which killed two more people. Details of the evidence against Serriteno have been introduced in a preliminary hearing. One More Thing…

Last year I took the family on a vacation to Huntington Beach (even made a video about it) and ever since, my 5 year-old has been begging to go back.

During Officer Bowen’s eulogy, the speaker mentioned fond memories of family vacations. I thought about how many of my childhood memories were from family trips.

So, on a whim, we packed up and went back to Huntington Beach for another stay (it’s sooo hard to get my family to try something new!)

Think back to your best memories as a child and I bet a lot of them involve family vacations, camping trips or other getaways.

Let that sink in. For those of you who are parents, start planning your next trip. Life’s too short!
